1. Agreement and scope
These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of DinkLow, including the website, mobile experiences, Lowest Unique Auctions, Drop events, Shop purchases, product credits, rewards, payments, delivery features, notifications, support, and related services.
By creating an account, submitting a paid bid, joining a Drop, claiming a product, placing an order, or otherwise using a paid DinkLow feature, you agree to these Terms and any event-specific rules displayed before the action. If an event-specific rule conflicts with these Terms, the event-specific rule controls only for that event to the extent of the conflict.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.
- Use one genuine account for yourself unless DinkLow expressly authorizes another arrangement. Do not create or coordinate multiple accounts to influence an Auction or Drop.
- Provide accurate account, contact, delivery, and verification information and keep it current.
- You are responsible for protecting your credentials, devices, and sessions and for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized access.
- DinkLow may require reasonable identity, contact, payment, fraud-prevention, or delivery verification before allowing participation, releasing a product, or completing a refund.
3. Products, descriptions, and inventory
DinkLow may sell products directly or allocate platform-controlled inventory to Auctions and Drops. Product pages may show condition, specifications, reference retail value, warranty information, stock, and delivery information.
We aim to keep product information accurate. Images may illustrate the product and can differ slightly in color or presentation by screen. A material specification or condition discrepancy will be handled under the applicable order, return, refund, and consumer-protection rules.
- Inventory reserved for an Auction or Drop is not available for ordinary Shop purchase at the same time.
- A cart does not reserve stock. Stock is reserved only when the platform explicitly confirms a reservation or checkout state.
- Reference or market prices are informational comparison values and are not a promise that every seller or retailer offers the same price.
4. Payments and payment verification
Prices and fees are shown in Ethiopian birr (ETB) unless the interface expressly states otherwise. DinkLow uses enabled payment service providers to process payments. A payment attempt, debit notification, or provider prompt does not by itself prove that DinkLow received a successful payment.
The DinkLow server verifies payment status before a bid, Drop entry, claim purchase, or Shop order is treated as paid. Pending, delayed, duplicated, reversed, or failed provider events may require reconciliation before the related status changes.
- The amount charged and its purpose are shown before the payment action.
- Do not repeat a payment using a new request merely because confirmation is delayed; use the payment-status controls provided by DinkLow.
- Taxes, statutory charges, delivery charges, or other mandatory amounts, when applicable, will be disclosed as part of the relevant checkout or legal requirement.
- DinkLow may refuse or hold a transaction that appears duplicated, fraudulent, unauthorized, technically inconsistent, or legally restricted while it is reviewed.
5. Lowest Unique Auctions
DinkLow Auctions use a lowest-unique-bid purchase-right model. Unless an Auction page expressly states another approved mode, each submitted bid has its own disclosed entry fee and becomes valid only after that entry-fee payment is verified before the server-controlled closing time.
Bid amounts remain private while an Auction is live. A verified bid cannot be edited or withdrawn merely because the bidder changes their mind. The same account may be prevented from submitting the same amount twice, and each Auction may impose a maximum number of bids per user.
At the server-controlled closing time, DinkLow stops accepting new bids and calculates the result from verified bids. For each bid amount, uniqueness is determined by distinct participants. The lowest amount used by exactly one participant is the winning bid. If no amount is unique, there is no unique winner.
The browser countdown is informational. The server timestamp, verified payment records, bid records, locked Auction rules, and immutable result snapshot are authoritative for determining whether a bid was on time and for calculating the result.
- The Auction page shows the entry fee, minimum bid, closing time, applicable rule version, and any event-specific refund or credit terms before participation.
- A winner receives a time-limited right to buy the allocated product at the winning bid amount. The winning amount is a separate payment from bid entry fees.
- The winner must complete the winning payment before the displayed deadline. Starting or retrying payment does not extend that deadline unless DinkLow explicitly changes the deadline in the authoritative event record.
- If the winning purchase right expires, DinkLow may offer the product to the next eligible unique bidder when the published event rules allow runner-up promotion.
- If DinkLow cancels an Auction before a valid final result, verified paid Auction participation fees for that cancelled Auction are eligible for the cancellation refund process.
- If there is no unique winner, entry-fee treatment follows the refund rule published for that Auction. DinkLow will not silently replace the published rule after bidding begins.
- After completion, DinkLow may publish verified bid amounts and masked participant information for transparency. Full contact details are not intentionally published in the public result view.
- A result certificate/hash may be displayed so the completed outcome can be checked against the immutable result snapshot.
6. Drop events
A Drop is a limited-inventory event in which the displayed price falls according to server-controlled timing until an eligible participant claims a unit or the event ends. The Drop page states whether registration or an entry fee is required, participant limits, the price schedule, available units, and the purchase-payment window.
A claim reserves a purchase opportunity at the server-confirmed claim price; it is not a completed purchase until the required payment is verified. When multiple eligible claim attempts compete for the same unit, the server-received valid claim order controls.
- Only confirmed eligible participants may claim when registration is required.
- Each unit or round can be separately reserved and completed. Later rounds may begin only after the prior unit is paid, expires, or is otherwise released according to the event rules.
- If a claim payment deadline expires, the reservation may be released and the event may continue or the next unit may open.
- If a Drop is cancelled or fails a published minimum-participant condition, verified entry payments are handled according to the published Drop refund rule and the platform refund process.
- Displayed client-side timers and animations do not override server time, inventory, payment, or claim records.
7. Shop orders
Shop products are purchased at the price confirmed during checkout. Adding an item to a cart does not guarantee availability. DinkLow rechecks stock, applicable product credits, delivery address, and payable total before starting payment.
An order is confirmed as paid only after payment verification. If a reservation expires before payment is successfully confirmed, stock may be released and a late or inconsistent payment may require reconciliation or refund handling rather than fulfillment.
8. Product credits and rewards
DinkLow may issue product-specific credits or event rewards when an Auction, Drop, promotion, or remediation rule provides for them. Credits and rewards are promotional platform benefits, not cash balances.
- Product credits apply only to the product identified by the credit unless the credit expressly says otherwise.
- Credits are non-transferable, cannot be sold, and cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for cash.
- A credit may be used up to the eligible product amount and may be applied automatically at checkout.
- Unused credit expires on its displayed expiration date. Expired or fully used credits have no remaining value.
- Rewards and credits obtained through abuse, duplicate accounts, payment reversal, or a voided event may be cancelled to the extent permitted by law.
9. Delivery and fulfillment
You must provide a deliverable address and reachable contact information. Delivery estimates are estimates unless DinkLow expressly guarantees a date. Delivery may be performed by DinkLow or an authorized delivery provider.
Inspect delivered products promptly. If an item arrives materially damaged, incorrect, or inconsistent with the confirmed order, contact DinkLow support with reasonable evidence as soon as practical so the issue can be reviewed.
10. Cancellations, refunds, returns, and warranty
Refund eligibility depends on the reason for the refund, the event-specific rule shown before payment, payment status, product condition, and applicable law. DinkLow does not treat every entry fee or completed purchase as automatically refundable or automatically non-refundable.
Where the platform records a refund as required, DinkLow will submit or process it through the available payment or settlement method. Provider processing time may occur after DinkLow initiates the refund.
Return and warranty rights for physical products are governed by the product listing, confirmed warranty information, the nature of the issue, and applicable law. Misuse, unauthorized modification, or damage after delivery may affect return or warranty eligibility to the extent permitted by law.
11. Notifications and communications
DinkLow may send transactional notices needed to operate your account and transactions, such as payment status, Auction or Drop results, purchase deadlines, order updates, security notices, refunds, and support messages. These may be delivered in-app and through other enabled channels.
Marketing messages are separate from essential transactional notices. Where preference controls are available, you can adjust optional marketing or non-essential notification channels without disabling notices that are reasonably necessary to complete or secure a transaction.
12. Result transparency and privacy
DinkLow may publish completed Auction or Drop information that helps users verify fairness, including product, winning amount or claim price, result status, masked winner or participant display information, aggregate counts, and result certificate references.
Active bid amounts are not intentionally disclosed to competing participants while an Auction is live. Public completed-result views use masked contact information by default. DinkLow may retain fuller records privately for audit, fraud prevention, support, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
13. Fair use and prohibited conduct
- Do not use multiple or coordinated accounts to manipulate uniqueness, participant counts, claim order, rewards, limits, or product availability.
- Do not collude with other participants to coordinate bid amounts, suppress unique bids, manufacture duplicate bids, rotate winners, or manipulate Drop claims.
- Do not use bots, scripts, automation, scraping, traffic flooding, emulators, modified clients, or other tools to obtain an unfair timing or participation advantage or to impair the service.
- Do not exploit bugs, bypass payment verification, tamper with requests, impersonate another person, use stolen payment instruments, reverse a legitimate payment in bad faith, or submit false support or refund claims.
- Do not interfere with security controls, rate limits, audit records, inventory reservations, result certificates, or another user’s account.
14. Review, audit, suspension, and enforcement
DinkLow may review transaction, account, device, payment, bid, claim, inventory, and security records when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, enforce published rules, resolve disputes, or comply with law.
DinkLow may temporarily restrict an account, reject a bid or claim, cancel a fraudulent benefit, hold fulfillment, or suspend access when there is a reasonable security, fraud, payment, legal, or rule-enforcement basis. Where appropriate, affected transactions will be reviewed and handled according to the verified records, applicable event rules, and law.
15. Service availability and exceptional events
Internet outages, payment-provider failures, telecom interruptions, hosting incidents, device problems, force majeure events, regulatory orders, or other circumstances outside reasonable control can delay or interrupt the service.
When an event cannot be operated fairly or safely, DinkLow may pause, postpone, cancel, or otherwise remediate the affected event. We will use the authoritative records to determine the appropriate status, stock release, refund request, or restart rather than fabricating a result.
16. Intellectual property
DinkLow branding, software, interface design, original content, and platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use the service for its intended purpose but may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit protected platform materials except where law expressly permits.
17. Responsibility and limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, DinkLow is not responsible for losses caused solely by a user’s unauthorized credential sharing, unsupported device modification, inaccurate delivery information, third-party network outage, or other event outside DinkLow’s reasonable control.
DinkLow remains responsible for obligations that applicable law places on the platform and for remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. These Terms are not intended to remove mandatory consumer rights.
18. Account closure and termination
You may stop using DinkLow and request available account or data actions through the platform or support. Account closure does not erase settled transaction, audit, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records that DinkLow is required or reasonably permitted to retain.
DinkLow may suspend or terminate access for material or repeated violations, fraud, security threats, illegal use, or non-payment, subject to applicable law and any unresolved legitimate payment, refund, delivery, or dispute obligations.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of Ethiopia. Before starting formal proceedings, you and DinkLow should first try to resolve a complaint through DinkLow support by identifying the account, event or order, and the disputed transaction without sharing passwords or authenticator codes.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, either party may use the competent courts or other dispute-resolution process available under applicable Ethiopian law. Nothing in this section limits a non-waivable statutory right or remedy.
20. Changes, severability, and contact
DinkLow may update these Terms when the service, law, payment methods, security requirements, or business processes change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. When a material change requires renewed acceptance, DinkLow may ask you to accept the new version before a covered action.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent allowed by law. Questions, complaints, legal notices, and transaction disputes should be submitted through DinkLow’s official support channel shown in the platform.
